Appalachian Mountain Bike Club

This is the home page for the Appalachian Mountain Bike Club.  The club used to be the kind of club that would have regular mettings, elected officers, and dues-paying members. 

Over the past few years it has evolved into a virtual club, which is not bad if there are not any big issues to take care of.  We can all spend more time riding.

The purpose of this site now, is to provide a place for information exchange.  Where to ride, when to ride, how to ride, ....

Explore around, send in an article, join a discussion, tell your friends. This is a community site, populated by you.  The more you put in, the more everybody gets from it.

In order to post events on the calendar, submit articles, or view the list of "members", you must join the site.  You can do this by clicking on the "Join" link on the left and submitting your name and email address.  Once you are put on the membership list, you will be sent an email with your password.  You can then log in using the link at the bottom of the page and go to the membership area and update information about yourself.  Your email address will not be available to non-members and you can even elect to not display it to members if you so desire.

Once logged in, you can also submit articles and events.  Just click on the Admin link on the bottom of the page.
